Isabel Poensgen
Isabel is a psychologist, coach and mentor to C-suite executives with more than 20 years experience. She was a cofounding partner and managing director of Bernotat & Cie., a mentoring company that successfully introduced C-suite mentoring to the German business market.
Before founding Bernotat & Cie. in 2011, Isabel worked for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Germany for 10 years. She managed its career transition services and coaching program, both of which she introduced in Germany and helped roll out in Europe.
While at BCG, Isabel maintained her own independent C-suite coaching practice, working with leaders ranging from DAX 30 companies to the World Economic Forum.
She served as a coach and faculty member of the Master of Global Leadership of the World Economic Forum and as a member of the faculty of Meyler Campbell, a business coach qualification institute in London.
Isabel earned her Diploma in Psychology at J.W.-Goethe Universität Frankfurt and completed a two-year program in personnel and organizational development at the Management Zentrum St. Gallen, Switzerland. She is certified in the delivery of coaching, career and leadership assessment tools including the DISC, MBTI, Motivational Index and CPI. Isabel is a registered Founding Member of the ICA Institute of Coaching Professionals Association of Harvard Medical School.
Isabel is a native Germany speaker and is fluent in English.
